Save the home, not just the photo.

A beautiful kitchen can stop the scroll. Before you move on, save the listing link, the MLS number or the full address, including the unit number. Those details help Jay identify the exact property. A screenshot can be useful, but a link gives him a better place to start.

Tell Jay what caught your eye.

Is it the outdoor space, the layout or the location? Add what you like and what you’re unsure about. If you have a target move date or a price range you’re comfortable with, include that too. The point is to make the conversation about your life, alongside the home.

Ask the questions the photos can’t answer.

Think about storage, parking, natural light and the daily trip to the places you visit most. Ask what information is available about the property and which details need checking. Listing photography is a starting point. It can’t tell you how a home will feel during your ordinary Tuesday.

Leave room for a real visit.

Send a few possible times if you’d like a showing. Jay will need to confirm availability and arrangements before you make plans. After a visit, write down what worked and what didn’t while it’s fresh. Comparing those notes can make the next home easier to assess.

Make it personal.

Bring your questions to Jay and talk through what comes next.
